PeoplePowerForFlorida.com/vote Will Serve as a New Digital Tool to Register Voters
ORLANDO, FL - Today, Rep. Anna V. Eskamani announced that People Power For Florida has launched their new online voter registration tool in English and Spanish!
PeoplePowerForFlorida.com/vote and https://peoplepowerforflorida.com/votar directs visitors to an online voter registration portal that not only verifies a Floridian’s voter registration information, but will link them to register to vote online and offer them the opportunity to request election reminders too.
“Online voter registration is a key component to getting more Floridians registered and ready to vote,” said Representative Anna V. Eskamani. “The State of Florida has barely promoted online voter registration and we’re here to help change that. All of our t-shirts and printed materials have a QR code to our portal, and we’ll be investing in digital ads to help promote PeoplePowerForFlorida.com/vote, too!”
People Power for Florida is also in the process of translating this portal into Creole, and will implement a Vote By Mail component soon, too.
Two weeks ago Representative Eskamani also announced the hiring of nine staff members for People Power for Florida, including two directors. Tomorrow the organization will be hosting their third Voter Registration Training, and has already recruited 131 Volunteer Leaders to facilitate local voter registration efforts in their communities.
